Our Story

Torinity, LLC is a Georgia headquartered limited liability company, founded in 2006. Our mission initially was to publish, promote and distribute innovative and dynamic writings aimed at bringing useful information to a broad spectrum of reading and comprehension levels.Since then, we have expanded our business to provide strong legal literacy and other programs for young people. We’ve worked with private and public schools, non-profit organizations, and more to provide youth training and development programs.

Ladawna Barnes

Senior Consultant

Mrs. Barnes has over 16 years experience in finance and operational management for government, non-profit, and educational entities. She has provided strategic planning and operational management for many distressed communities around the country. She posses a BA in Sociology with a specialization in Criminology, Deviance, and Law and Social Welfare from the University of Michigan and a MPA from Kennesaw State University.

Michael D. Griffin

Senior Consultant

Michale has over 18 years’ experience providing college access and youth program development, academic support programs, and leadership development initiatives. Michael has a BA in Human Services and Psychology from Adrian College, as well as an MSW and MEd from the University of Cincinnati.

Andre Phinnessee

Senior Consultant

Andre brings 14 years of industrial engineering, project management, and problem solving experience to Torinity. He’s worked in multiple industries and works nationwide training leadership teams in project and software implementations and installations. He has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee as well as a Lean SIx Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers and a Lean Systems Certification from the University of Kentucky.

Ciji Townsend

Senior Consultant

Ciji specializes in life balance, career and family management, and health and wellness education and training. She has over 14 years in marketing and public relations, as well as 5 years of wellness training and seminars. She is the Founder and Chief Motivator of Balanced Not Busy. She has a BA in Public Relations from Clark Atlanta University.

Travis Townsend

Managing Consultant

Travis has over 16 years of strategic business and management legal counsel experience, including 10 years of program development and trainer education experience in working with the law firms’ clients. He is a co-author of When the Cops Come Knockin’: An Illustrated Guide to Criminal Law. He’s the founding partner of Lownsend & Locket LLC in Atlanta, and has served as an adjunct Professor at both the University of Michigan and Emory University Schools of Law. He has a BA in Psychology and a JD from the University of Michigan.

Trinity Townsend

Managing Consultant

Trinity has practiced law for 13 years and spent 6 years teaching High School. He is a founder of Torinity Consulting Company, and works also as a Senior Staff Attorney in the Fulton County (GA) Superior Court in Atlanta. He is the co-author of When the Cops Come Knockin’: An Illustrated Guide to Criminal Law. His experience as a teacher in an inner city High School informs Torinity’s educational offerings. He has a BA in Education from the University of Michigan and a JD from the Emory University School of Law.
